to the web site of the only rural Lutheran Church in New
Jersey. Surrounded by the beautiful farmlands of Alloway
Township, we embrace our rich history in Southern New Jersey
by continuing to worship faithfully in the same spot our
founders chose 285 years ago.
For
close to three centuries, the mission of Emanuel Lutheran
Church has been "Making Christ Known." By this we mean
that God has called us to make all people disciples of
Jesus Christ, and to bring them into the fellowship of
the Church, which God calls the "Body of Christ."
From
worship to covered dish dinners, from the Women's Group
service to the community to Bible studies and a thriving
Sunday School, from evangelical preaching to our commitment
to our shut-ins, from our music ministry to Vacation Bible
School, all of our activities are geared to further our
mission: "Making Christ Known."
